What is the Broadcast Message Feature?
The Broadcast Message feature allows supervisors to send important announcements directly to crew smartwatches. It improves onboard communication, reinforces safety protocols, and helps maintain compliance with updated operational requirements.

Key Capabilities
Send to All or Selected Crew: Messages can be broadcast to everyone or a specific group.
Syncs with Smartwatch: All recipients receive the message on their connected SOL-X watch.
Message History: View all past broadcast messages for reference.
Emergency & Routine Use: Supports alerts, reminders, and scheduled safety notifications.
How to Send a Broadcast Message
Step-by-Step:
Access the Feature
Navigate to Crew Finder on the dashboard and click Broadcast Message.
Enter your PIN to proceed.

Compose or Select a Message
Write a new message or select an existing one to edit and reuse.
Select Recipients
By default, all team members are selected.
To send to specific individuals, tap Add Team Members and select from the list.
Send the Message
Review your message.
Tap Send to Team Members, then Confirm.

What Happens Next?
Crew members will get an instant notification on their SOL-X smartwatches.
Messages appear with a timestamp and can be acknowledged with a single tap.
A full list of Recent Broadcasts is available for future reference.
